Format Specifications

DV Footage

• Footage shot on DV was digitized via firewire with the native Apple Quicktime DV codec.
• Footage shot on beta SP or digibeta was digitized via an AJA digital I/O transcoded to DV.

In each case no additional compression was applied to any footage after being digitized.

HDV Footage

• HDV footage was shot in the HDV format. These shots were digitized via firewire with the native HDV codec.
• No other compression or format conversion has been applied to any HDV footage.

Note: You must have the HDV codec for Quicktime in order to view or use this footage. Your editing software must be capable of editing in native HDV in order to use any of the HDV footage offered for sale on our site.
